Manual operation vs. sensor

No washbasin can do without a matching mixer tap. In view of its frequent use, it should not only be visually appealing, but also meet the highest requirements in terms of functionality and durability. With self-closing mixer taps, for example, you get an adjustable flow rate at the touch of a button and can adjust the temperature yourself using a steel regulator attached to the side. In comparison, an electronic stainless steel basin valve allows water to be dispensed without any actuation at all. The water only flows as long as a hand is within the active sensor range. The run-on time can be set individually and a mechanism is also embedded which prevents deliberate waste by forcing the water flow to switch off after around 5 minutes. Washbasin tap for floor or wall mounting

In contrast to a wall-mounted tap, a freestanding tap is not installed directly in the wall, but is mounted on the washbasin. The advantage of this is that no major work is required on the wall and the costs therefore remain scalable. With wall-mounted taps, installing the incoming water pipes can be a challenge. Nevertheless, it is worth considering this option, as the visual effect should not be underestimated. Wall-mounted taps also offer more room to move around the basin, creating a more comfortable user experience.
